Paul Simmons

6th Dan MSc BSc (Hons),CSCS, MAAF, ACSM (cert)

Sensei Paul Simmons started his martial art career in 1985 at Uckfield Judo Club and was trained by the British Female Judo champion at the time. Paul began instructing in Hove and then Heathfield and slowly built his clubs up. Through his competitive career Paul coached many talented fighters. He has to date coached over 25 individuals to English and British National Medallists and Champions at all age levels from under 12 to senior level. Within this Multiple English and British Champions.

His students have represented England at the European and World Karate Federation (Official World and European Body, 180 countries and 60 million members), European and World Championships. They have also won European and World medals at the Single style, Wado-ryu European and World Championships.

Zof Malewicz

1st Dan Karate and 1st Degree Kickboxing

Sensei Zof has been training for 8 years and is a Former ISKA World L/Con Champion

Zof has competed for ISKA England Amateur Kickboxing since 2009 bringing back medals at light con and full contact from the World European championships.

Since then Sensei Zof has competed in Spain, Holland, Italy, Cyprus and all over England, winning medals and reaching European title fights in light con and full contact amateur world final in 2013.

A coach to students that have represented England at Full contact and light con. World medalists in both full and light con. Aswell as English Champions

A fully qualified ISKA judge and referee and ISKA female kickboxing fighter of the year.

James Thomas

MA, BA, 2nd Dan Karate

Sensei James has been training for over 25 years and a senior instructor at FSK. He is on the grading panels for the club and association.

James teaches throughout Sussex and specialises in Kata and Self-Defence.

Greg McAngus

2nd Degree Black Belt

Sensei Greg has been training for 9 years in kickboxing and Thai boxing. A ISKA England Team Member and World Championship finalist in the welterweight division at the 2014 ISKA World Amateur Championships.

Sensei Greg is on the grading panel for the FSK and BIMAF.

David Thomas

2nd Dan Black Belt, Former England 'A' Squad, English Karate Federation

Sensei David has been on the England Squad for 4 years and won medals at U16, U18, U21 and Senior level at the EKF English National Championships. Former National Regional Champion and English Open finalist. BUCS British Heavyweight University Karate Champion. Team Captain Birmingham University. Competing for British Universities at European University Games.

Sensei David has competed on the World Karate Federation K1 Premier League and is assistant FSK coach and part of the FKA National Kumite Team.

Hazel Flaherty

2nd Dan Black Belt, Former England Senior A Squad, English Senior Champion

Sensei Hazel is former English Karate Federation English Senior Female Champion, BKF British International Open -68kg Bronze medallists, BKF British U21 Championship Silver Medalist, English Bronze and EKF English Silver Senior Female Team Medallist.
