EKF English Kyu Grade National Championships - January 2015

FSK had two students picked to represent Frontier Karate Association at the Kyu Grade National championships at Pond Forge, Sheffield.

Mason Biddle and Eli Hardwick were selected and competing in their first National Championships!

Eli competed in the 8th to 4th kyu catgory and had over 60 people in his section. Fighting through three fights to lose in the quarter finals. A great effort and very promising start to competing at that level.

Mason competed in the same section and won his first fight to get disqualified in his second fight.

At such a young age both did very well.

A great day for Frontier Karate Association as they finished 6th out of 50 assocaitions in the medals table with 4 Gold and 3 Bronze. With a team of 12 fighters. Well done! Chief Instructor to FKA Sensei Paul Simmons was very pleased with such a high position against much bigger association squads.
